Chip Timing
Timing provided by: Gulf Coast Runners
ALL participants will be required to pick up their chip on race morning. Take your race number to the chip table to pick up your chip. Personally owned chips will not work as we use transponder chips. Click here to see a video illustrating how to attach your chip!

This year the race will include a CHIP START however all awards and official finish places are based on GUN TIME, not chip time.

Any participant who does not wear the chip as directed will not be timed or scored in the results. All chips must be returned to volunteers at the finish line! Participants will be required to pay $80 for lost chips!!

Course
The course is USATF certified and begins on 5th Avenue South and returns to Cambier Park (map provided with race packet). Mile markers each mile; water and sports drink at 7 stops, turns marked, out and back course - flat and fast. Pursuant to USATF rules, no in-line skates, baby joggers or strollers, or bicycle support allowed on course. Time limit of 3 hours due to course closure restrictions.
